I am satisfied ,as a total ,for this rent a car contract. But if I can get the followings, I felt more comfortable. The explanation for navigation system and GPS system. I thought simple explanation sheet should be in the car. Usually, there is not so much time to get explanation at the time when we get a car.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They kindly drove us to the bus station in our rental car. We would have missed the bus otherwise. The car was great and the reservation went very smoothly. Recommend!

We are from Singapore and rented a Ford for 24 hours in June for the trip from Zagreb to Pelvice Lakes. Pros : The assistant manager, Mr. Hrvoje Mikolaci was extremely helpful with the rental process and advice. He recommended interesting places to stop along the way to Pelvice Lakes. Much appreciated. We got an almost new Ford hatchback, driven only 4,200km. No car problem at all. The car usage and the explanation by Mr. Mikolaci assistant was very helpful. Cons : When we returned the car at 11pm, parking was very difficult because the office is located in a central and popular location. We had to wait 30 mins. and finally parked 150m. away near the central train station. If the parking was easier, I would have given it a 5-star rating. I would definitely rent from the same company again whenever I visit Zagreb.

All the problems started when the car was picked up by us in Zadar, we booked a car through the web, we paid a supplement for that car, however, instead we were given a one of lower category, without notifying us. the condition of the car was quite old and so we let the person that gave us the car know, especially when we realized that the brakes were not working properly, either the reverse light; These are just one of the many failures observed. The day after renting the car, an orange light came on at the control panel of the car, identifying the need to go to a workshop. We sent a message to the person who rented us the car, who told us, that we could change the car at the Split airport, saying that she would notify them. We agreed because the condition of the car was very outdated. However, we felt tremendously ignored and belittled when we arrived at the Split airport and the person in charge of that office informed us of the non-availability of another car and, I quote textually, "we should continue with our first car until we deliver it to the Zagreb airport ", we, concerned about the appearance of the car, let him know how was the car because he didn’t even got out of the office to checked it out. We had no choice but to accept that non-solution since we needed a car and the company did not provide us with another one to change it as it was indicated to us. In short, the management of the company is desastrous as well as the conditions in wich the cars are rented.

STAY AWAY! I have been travelling all over the world and renting cars for years and using third party insurance. This summer when I went to pick up the car, they told me if I want to use third party insurance they have to block THE FULL VALUE OF THE CAR (about $18000.00 Canadian) on my visa. Otherwise I have to purchase insurance from them, which was about $700.00 Canadian. They are praying on the tourists that have no other choice during the Croatian high tourist season. They know that all the other car rental agencies either have no cars to rent or are much more expensive if you get a car last minute. This is the position we were in, and ended up buying their insurance. Not good business sense at all! I would never rent through them again!!! And of course, when you call to complain, no one knows anything and no one can help you. You just keep on getting transferred.
