Very nice church and very nice pastor.

Beautiful old church in the center of a picturesque village in a hilly area along the Slovenian-Croatian border. A beautiful, gentle area full of forests of meadows, vineyards and orchards.

The church of Mary of Pohoda is a one-nave building with a four-lane sanctuary with a bell tower attached to the left of the church facade. It was begun to build it at the beginning of 1517 by donor Petar Silaj, commander of Susedgrada. The church was built up to 1527, and today's form gets in 1758. Leonardi, who built Bužan's palace in the Upper Town of Zagreb, was built by him. The church was initially dedicated to St. Petru, and only 1682 is dedicated to bishop Martin Borkovic to the Mother of God. (...) The former monastery was built by the Franciscans who came here to flee to the people before the Turks. The main altar is a baron of Ivana Raucha from 1758. (...) The wooden statue of Gothic Madonna with a child on the main altar is the greatest sacred cave. The Franciscans brought him out of the Turks from Bosnia. The floor of the statue is impressed: Heil. Maria 14 ... which safely enough proves that the statue dates back to the 15th century. The friars wanted to set up a godfather here, but in 1789 Joseph II abolished them.
