This is an excellent alternative to expensive hotels. We, group of six, were accommodated in a big room we really liked it. This super clean place has everything you need and if you add nice owners and beautiful Krapina with super friendly people, excellent pizza and awesome ice cream you will love it.

I got food poisoning from the family-style dish of chicken. Took me two days to recover. The chicken was served just barely warm and by the time I had the last piece, it was contaminated. The owner and cook denied it was the food. But it was for sure.

This hostel is great. I recommend it sincerly. Friendly and comfortable. The service is also great!

The owner, Marlis, tended to our every need and went way out of her role to make sure everything was provided. Her quick wit and welcoming made this stay an experience in itself. In the morning she went into the dormitory kitchen and personally cooked and served our breakfast and provided us with laughter. This woman radiates force and security and not just invites you to her home, but makes sure that everyone is treated as an honourable guest. From all of my travels combined, this place has reached one of my very top favourites and I will be sure to drop by again. If you are passing Krapina it would be foolish not to stay in this wonderful place and leave a mark in her guestbook.
