Poor service. No attempt to find a solution. Maybe there is no solution, fine ... But even not an attempt.

Super rude officer with very expensive deposit, they judge deposit with no price table! Very very bad experience! Work super slow!

Great staff, great car, fair price. Most important of all: No scams at all. They accepted out visa backed debt card for payment which shady companies won't. Pickup and drop off were super smooth and it's walkable from the bus station. No complaints, would rent from again for sure.

NOT EVEN a 1 star. Terrible!! Horrible experience at the Split Airport Hertz location. Never use again. Please change your booking before it is too late. My wife and I arrived at the Split airport on July 2, 2019, and we pre-paid our car rental several months in advance through our travel agency. When we arrived at the Hertz counter the worker was really rude and disrespectful to us and said we need to pay for our vehicle and he didn't even have a car for us. He then said his driver is coming from Dubrovnik and we had to wait for 4 hours for a car. He was really rude to us, and even started to laugh at us. He was so unprofessional. We were very upset, we called our travel agent from the United States and they said everything was paid for and they even talked with him over the phone in Croatian to try to resolve this problem. Then the Hertz worker staryed to change his stories and said to come back the next day, he had NO cars for us. He was a complete jerk! He also said the manager was not available and no one was their to help us. We went back and forth for over an hour. We then went to another car agency, who was very helpful and got us a car. We were in Croatia for 12 days and needed a car. I highly recommend booking with Oryx Car rental in Croatia. Super nice, great car and excellent service. As far as Hertz, I will never rent a vehicle from them again.

we rented the car in dubrovnik. very nerrow street but got a very nice car return the car in zagreb which was fine too.. very nice people. tecommend highly
