Trakošćansko jezero

Path around the lake is wonderful. You can bring the kids, even in strollers. Path is also educational since there are boards explaining wildlife, plants, fish and all kinds of different stuff. It is peaceful and really worthwhile. Walk around the castle and visiting the museum is also highly recommended.

A great outdoors feeling, nature is overwhelming tho it is not nature and its man made, but still feels great. Its not the cleanest Park I have seen, but it is really cool. You can see diverse animals, plants, mushrooms 🍄 🍄. I recommend it come and see to enjoy and relax your body.

5 km running/hiking/bicycle trail around the lake. Very clean, beautiful!

Trakoscan is famous for numerous things, like Castle, fine restaurant and walk in the park. At the moment (10/2017) small part of the park is in construction phase. There will be separate entrance and possible a payment fee for entrance. The park is pet friendly, and it is a great place for picnic with family or friends. It has large parking space (fee is 2€) and two restaurants.

Clean nature, with a forest and a lake, family friend area and a great trip destination. You can also visit the castle, which has an interesting history. Its beautiful during all season, but expecially during winter IF theres snow! Come and enjoy a walk around a lake!
