CARWIZ rent a car Zadar Airport

I had a great experience. Friendly and efficient service, the staff member even went and got the car and drove it to the back of the office for me. The car was ok, nothing amazing (2018 Ford Fiesta) but did the job. From reading the below negative reviews it seems that a lot of the comments relate to damage that was not reported to the staff before leaving the office, or charges for extras that are clearly mentioned when booking. Therefore not the company's fault!

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! RENT A CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET SCREWED!! At first, it was a hassle getting the car once we had reserved it and picked it up. Had to pay an extra €40 if I was or wasn’t driving which I have never had an issue with - EVER! They made it a big deal and so I of course, had to pay it and move on. Four days later, we returned the car and they inspected it. While this occurred, they found a tiny scratch mark on the passenger side mirror which they concluded was total damage to the car - thus paying €160 afterwards. This was simply an impossible occurrence through us seeing as we’ve been with the car the entire 4 days and it had been parked at our Airbnb throughout the 4 days. The scratch is extremely minor that I’m sure they won’t bother fixing it and pocket the money. Anyways, if you don’t want to pay extra for any ridiculous fees or “damages,” I STRONGLY SUGGEST renting from other companies that won’t do this to you!

Great service, great car, great & professional staff. Unfortunately a little bit of a long wait but fair as multiple other flights arrived same time as us. Overall: happy witj CarWiz

Dont use this car rental. We had to pay extra for scratched front bumper but at the begining of the rent, employee said that they know about that, but they didnt put this damage on our car check list. We didnt noticed that and when we wanted return the car, first what employee said, that we made this damage and it was not here before.... Dont trust what they say and check your car check list twice before you take the car

Honestly save your money and energy and rent a car from somewhere else. My total car rental for 4 days was 26USD....CHEAP right?? WRONG! I have never had an issue with reserving a vehicle in my name and credit card, then once arriving, I state that I won’t be driving and I put the actual driver as the only driver (I don’t drive manual vehicles) I’ve done this with multiple car companies over and over and have never had an issue or an extra charge from this. They had to charge me an additional 46USD to “add” a driver even though I wasn’t going to be driving the vehicle....okay...so I pay it and move on. Fast forward 4 days and we returned the vehicle, and the inspector showed us a small scratch that “occurred” when we had it. If I could upload a photo to show everyone I would, this scratch was on the blinker light of the right ride mirror, literally less the size of a half inch...I didn’t purchase insurance through them, I got it through holiday autos. So of course they charged me for the damage an additional $181USD. So a rental that was suppose to be $26 dollars turned into $253. DO NOT RENT FROM them unless you BUY the insurance. I know for a fact that they will not repair that tiny tiny scratch and the company pocketed $181 dollars. Absolutely ridiculous, I’ve never experienced anything like this with any other company. Beware, beware, beware.
