Smaller or lower lakes of Plitvice Lakes National Park. The main attraction, The Big Waterfall, is in this part of National Park. Regardless the size, they are often considered more beautiful because of many many waterfalls. The Big Waterfall is intimidating, but others are also spectacular!

Place must be visited by anyone who is in Croatia. It is truly amazing, very relaxing and tranquil. National park authorities do their to keep the area in a perfect condition: parkings are well organized, it is very clean and pleasant around. Plenty of places where you can buy some snacks and drinks. Best time to visit I would say is in Winter when the snow is covering the surrounding hills and there are not so many tourists around.
