We do not know exactly when the Holy Trinity Chapel was built in Palinovac, but it is assumed that it was opened around 1900 at the time of the ministry of Pastor Juraj Peczek. Until then, only public crosses and pileks existed in Palinovac. Like others, this chapel was built at the intersection of roads, more specifically the roads to Turčišće, Palovac, and to the other side, towards Hodošan and Sveti Juraj in Trnje. In this way, it stood out that each time it ends before the holy door, and that churches and chapels are the natural centers of the place, the heart and soul of the village. A brief overview of the history of the parish of Sveti Juraj in Trnje by Juraj Kolarić, in the inset between pages 12 and 13, the image of the chapel contains the information "Gore - Palinovec. Chapel of the Holy Trinity from 1875". The visitor in 1897 mentions that there are three branch chapels in the parish, but he does not mention them by name. In 1912, four chapels were mentioned in the parish in Chekhov, Palinovac, Hodošan and Hrašćan. As we already know from the sources mentioned above that there were chapels in Chekhovac and Hodošan, it remains controversial which chapel is from the canonical visit in 1897. Pastor A. Fischer in the Monument of the Parish believes that this is a chapel in Palinovac. However, the only proof of this would be the visitor's note that "Palinov municipality manages the church property itself". In 1917, during the First World War, the chapel remained silent. Authorities used the bells to cast cannons and trim cannon bullets. On September 7, 1916, each church and chapel was left with one bell, but in 1917 all the cunning bellmen could not save were picked up. The village of Palinovec later separated six small acres of land from its pasture and put them on a "lease" to build a new and larger chapel with the money raised. But it did not come true. Choosing new councilors and their diligent efforts in the early 1980s. centuries, the pilgrims and the chapel were rebuilt. For the pardon of 1981 the chapel was rebuilt externally and internally. The works were done by masonry master Franjo Vidović from Donji Pustakovac. The locals were generous in help, labor and money. Particularly deserving were the councilors Ivan Horvat, Ivan Orehovec, Jakob Zrna, Josip Horvat, Josip Brisar, Stjepan Baranasic, and carpenter Matija Novak who performed the woodwork. The chapel was renovated and upgraded during 1994. The boat was demolished and only the bell tower (pictured) was left of the old chapel. New contemporary materials, windows, bell and cover have been installed. On November 30, 1994, Ivan Baric wrote about the construction in the "Međimurje" newspaper: "Another important phase in the construction of the Holy Trinity Chapel in Palinovac has been successfully completed. The President of the Local Board, Ivan Srpak and his deputy Josip Sabol, with the cooperation of locals and vehicles with the special ladder of the Police Department of the County of Međimurje, have mounted a new cross on the bell tower of the chapel The works on the chapel are mostly coming to an end, thanks to the support of the locals of Palinovec, as well as of the Palinovci who live in other places, the last painting works are performed on the chapel, facades are made, electrical installations are mounted, the jumper is mounted and placed under the jumper. the back of the altar, the stained glass windows and the bell tower, which is the only one left of the old chapel, have been painted before, and it has already been protected from moisture and rain by covering and installing insulation. Palinovac residents are especially proud of their relatives from far Australia who are in for a renovation chapels donated $ 1,100. " The Holy Trinity Chapel was consecrated on St. Joseph's Day on March 19, 1995. It was consecrated by Bishop Monsignor Djuro Koksha. Since then, Joseph (Joseph) has been commemorated as Palinovac Day with a mass, events and passing. In the chapel, believers regularly gather for prayers and masses, firefighters and celebrants on school and other anniversaries.
