Hired a VW up from zagreb to Osijek. Both offices where not easy to find but customer service was good and we recieved a free up grade to a larger car. All in all a good experiance, we have two more bookings with carwiz over the next month so hopefully the good experiances keep coming. I would use carwiz again but you have to inspect the car carefully and take photos before you drive away.

I read those reviews before I decided to rent a car and I chose Carwiz, because I needed an option to rent a car in Osijek/Croatia and leave it at Split/Croatia. I was afraid because of the bad reviews, but I did not have any problems. Car was really new, only 6000kn on it, Toyota Yaris. I made around 700km with it, no problems. I returned the car to Split, they checked it (there was some scratches but from before, not made by me)and all was good. Carwiz in Split is about 1km from Airport so one of their employees drived my wife and me to airport, so we don't need to walk. All together, good experience if you know how to drive a car without making any damage on it, because if you do, you will need to pay. One more thing, my advice is to take insurance at Carwiz office, not online when you book for the car, because online you will get some other insurance and you will need to give more for deposit on your credit card.

Booked them trough Rentalcars, they tryed selling me full insurance to pay more then original booking. When i returned the car they charged me for 450 euro damage for scratch on aluminium rim which i am prity sure i never did. Avoid if possible.

Fantastic expirience while renting WV Up!. The staff greeted me with smile at the Osijek airport and provided fantastic service in english. The car has been well maintaned and tidy when I picked it up and employee gave me the instructions for the situations I might find myself in. Definitely renting the car at Carwiz next time I am in Croatia.

So, we booked a small car and we got a good price for it. But!!!!! The first thing, the guy who workes there wanted to charge my business credit card for 7000 kn (little less than 1000€) no matter that we take full insurance. I was working at the rent a car company and this is not the usuall thing!! ok when you take basic insurance then they have to have some insurance (credit card) and in that case its understandable. The second thing!! When I was making a booking for a car thru internet there it said that the full insurance is 10 € per day and when we came to their office the guy said 100€ for 3 days!!!!! I dont know how did he get that amount but this is surly the last time I booked a car from you!!! So he said ok ok i can give you some discount and it will be 200 kn less ( which is still more than 30 € for 3 days..) i was truly happy to have a great price for the rental but the guys attitude was horrible! at the end of corse we didnt get the car from them.. we wnt to Nippon rent a car and yes we payed little more but with the full insurance.. And yes this review is on English because I want for everybody to understand it!!! THANKS FOR NOTHING!
