The Bolman Church is dedicated to the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. It was built on the site where the church was made of wicker, and in 1777 the Bishop of Budapest Sofronia Kirilovic avenged it. Built in late Baroque style and 8.5 meters high, with a 14-meter tower containing three bells, this temple has been demolished twice. First, during the Second World War, when the Baroque iconostasis was destroyed and the entire archive was burned, and fifty years later, in 1992, it was destroyed again. It was rebuilt a year later and the present iconostasis is carved in linden wood, while the iconographer was Zoran Vojnovic. There are two parish homes in Bolman, an old one that was purchased in 1839 and a new one that was built and moved in 1990. Bolman had over 1200 Serbs in 1924. It was first mentioned in the 14th century under the name Obulma. It was once owned by Peter of Abolma, and the name Bolman has been mentioned since the Turkish time when it was inhabited by Orthodox Serbs.
