Highly recommended. The guided tour is excellent with lots of interesting pieces of astronomical and scientific information presented in everyday language. In addition to the larger in-situ refractor telescope, they usually have several reflector types as well which they will let you look into. The location is also somewhat unique in that it is in a larger town, but in a protected natural area. The building itself has seen better days, but this has little bearing on the overall experience.

A special little star, with special and old instruments, a creative amateur astronomer community who absorbed a lot of knowledge out of self-diligence. Really supportive and enthusiastic little community.

It was a great experience when I first saw the Moon and the Saturn Ring here. Later, Venus and its moons. I recommend it to anyone who loves astronomy.

There is an opportunity to visit on Friday evenings, very good
