Nice little source of drinking water, unfortunately, it`s only periodical. So, have a rest, enjoy the environment, but don`t count for 100% that you can refill your bottles. Also, please, be civilized, bring your garbage back with you and also don`t let anything to fall into the water, the animals are drinking the same.

Relaxed, secluded, reachable only on foot.

We threw on this during a winter hike. There was barely a trickle from the source.

Nice landscape, light, short walk from the lake. It's almost too short. 😂 But from there, many hiking trails go on if one wants to. But for us now water was important, so it was beneficial h we didn’t have to go much. And the spring water is also very fine. 😉

Next to Mátrafüred, there is a spring in the forest, easily accessible. Located next to an asphalt road. The Bene creek should just follow the blue triangular tourist sign showing the way. The spring water has a cold, pleasant taste. It is safe to consume, many come in cans and take the water home. It is worth carrying a glass because the built-in tube is low enough. There is also a picnic bench and a storage area. It’s an easy hike that a lot of elderly people take on.
