Szomolyai kaptárkövek

Typical hidden beauty! It has an easy access from the village and you can leave your car approximately 800 meters from the entrance. Around the rocks from this year is fully built with ramps and stairs but fortunately you not lose anything from the nature experience. Now is easy to visit with children or elderly people. You can read useful informations about the geological history of these rocks along the road. From the car park you can visit a viewpoint which also worth the visit!

The pathway is currently under construction, but it still can be seen from the valley below, otherwise it's worth visiting.

You have to walk on the wrong dirt road. Grass parking is also quite scarce. The stones are beautiful, the staircase system is also well built. Overall, I got what I expected.

They described everything in front of me, I wouldn't say. Beautiful landscape, interesting walk. It’s well worth going there for the sight.

Beautifully designed study trail on the border of Szomolya. From the car park you can take a short walk to the beginning of the study trail, where there are several information boards informing about the sights. The whole hike can be done comfortably in less than an hour, more difficult than a light walk just because of the stairs, but these are very well built. Along the way, there are also benches and tables where we can sit and relax.
