Nice castle and surroundings. Unfortunately nothing to see, has no clear purpose. Just two rooms with some local art.

The castle is a special attraction of Szécsisziget. What is interesting is that the local government and the community are maintained and working on its further development. The renovation of the granary building is also the result of their work, in which they can organize events and exhibitions and weddings. The visitor can get acquainted with the history of the area and the castle to the present day in an interesting presentation. Buffaloes graze in the enclosed area along the creek or graze in the mud. From among them, a bull is selected and slaughtered for the annual cooking competition for which they can apply. This event will enliven the life of the settlement.

Due to the indifference of the municipality or the mayor personally, a star is slapped on the phone, the mayor is unable to answer an email. You have to decide whether you need tourist money or not. I would have wondered when to visit the castle, but I didn’t get an answer.
