Great thermal spa. Worth a visit. If you time visit volcano museum on saghegy and try the local wine up the hill at kovvin Winery and vineyard. You can even rent the guesthouse and stay on the vineyard property for a great experience.

Today, on October 13, 2020, my husband and I chose this place. Unfortunately, it was a mistake. The only "warm" pool was 34 degrees, which was unsuitable for sitting (since it was a sitting pool), we got cold in it and the air inside was cold. Several people complained and said they were cold, so it wasn’t just us who had the problem. 2! We didn’t even spend an hour there because we couldn’t stand the cold air or the cold water. On the way out, several people grumbled and others in the locker room said they were not correct because one of the boilers was not working (hence the cold) and they did not provide any information about it. Before we left the building I signaled to the ladies who were right there that I knew the dog didn’t care what I was going to say, but it was cold and not sitting in the pool at 34 degrees by the time they said it was healing water and no more than 34 degrees. I have visited several places but the medicinal water in most places is 37 degrees, and we have been here several times and in the past the water temperature was always right, it was never 34 degrees. I'm sorry it turned out that way, but we'd rather go somewhere else to bathe, where there was also healing water at 38 degrees, and there were no soaked pieces of leather swimming in the water 🤦‍♀️

republic 197 Celldomolk - perfect rest in a quiet thermal bath Reviews of JUFA Vulkan Thermen-Resort Reviewed 3 weeks ago We were looking for peaceful thermal baths in Hungary, where there would be peace. And we found it. Celldomolk. This is an excellent spa that is not well-known. The thermal resort is in a quiet location behind the town of Celldomolk. There are several thermal pools with different hot water from 32 ° C to 36 ° C. During the week, the pools are open from 7:00 to 19:00, on Friday and Saturday until 20:30, which we also used and went to take a bath after dinner. The food is excellent, it is a buffet with enough variety in the style of Hungarian - therefore excellent cuisine. We had half board, which was enough for us. We solved lunch in the area of the swimming pool in the local buffet. Usually we had langoust or pancake with coffee and perfectly prepared fish for two days. The advantage is that you do not have to bring forints, but you report the order to the room number. The water in the three pools is volcanic with a slight odor of carbon. The smell is but only just above the surface, so it does not spread with the spa. In several other pools, the water is thermal or normal (25 ° C). In addition, there is also a swimming pool with tracks in the area, but the entrance to it is only with a swimming cap. Well, we have a few children's pools with three slides. We chose the date at the end of August, where the end of the season can be estimated according to less traffic. Which suited us very well, because it was quiet and there were time zones when we were alone in the pool. A lot of people we talked to use Celldomolk as an intermediate station on the way to the sea in Croatia, or on the way back. Accommodation is in a 2-storey hotel, which is integrated in the complex. So you put your bathrobe in your room and dry your feet in the pool. The equipment of the rooms is beautiful, the rooms are large, WiFi is available everywhere. The rooms are cleaned every day. Including Saturday and Sunday. In the vicinity - accessible by car, you can go to see the nearby volcano, which you watch all day from the pool. The slopes of the volcano are covered with vineyards. The adjacent town can be reached on foot, about a six-minute walk. Public transport is also available from the hotel. Overall, we rate the stay very positively.

On the long weekend of August 21, in a heatwave, guests were greeted with a single checkout. It was half an hour to get in with a little kid! Inside, the beach welcomed those who wanted to bathe with almost zero shade. There were two buffets for the many guests, which meant standing in line for an hour for 3 flames on a hot day !! The staff ran around the kitchen without a concept. They had no idea how they could control the situation. The prices were reasonable and the flames also tasted good. At first glance, it seemed like an undersized catch ... No protection against corona was observed except for buffet and pre-checkout plexiglass. They were unable to place a few copies of the menu at different points in the restaurant. Instead, people who were completely strangers to each other could congregate in front of the menu hung next to the publishing window. Social distancing Hungarian style ... Whatever. We're definitely not going any further.

Dried, extinct grass in weedy patches, because it cannot be called a lawn. There is little shade. , the tile on the outer cover of the pools is not damaged. , In Western Hungary this level is unacceptable. From an epidemiological point of view, I would be curious how much it hits the standard.
