Park Inn by Radisson Sárvár Resort & Spa

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. Last week I made a reservation for my dad in a promotion rate announced on the hotel website. Without any word of explanation, the reservation was canceled today. It looks like the hotel announces a promotion and then does not honor it without giving reasons to their clients. This is not the standard I expected from Radisson.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I made a reservation through booking and was canceled due to a mistake. The price was many days to book and suddenly I don't suit them. I've already planned everything. I DISCONNECT.

Very nicely designed hotel, clean and spacious rooms with balcony, direct entrance to Sàrvàr bath, bathrobes are available for free of charge. Staff is good. Breakfast is good, but dinner is not acceptable for a 4 star hotel at all. 2 nights we spent in the hotel, both night quantities were fine, but the selection and the quality of foods are terrible. Not any taste, cold main courses, plastic fried chicken, not well boiled rice etc... if they improve the quality of the dinner, they deserve 5 starts definitely.

The rooms are not clean enough and not even cleaned properly during our stay. The staff is not professional and lack of enough people in the restaurant. The food is just ok, nothing outstanding. It is nearly the same every day, mostly salty, the leftover is put out the next morning breakfast. The drinks are extraordinary expensive in the restaurant. We asked the staff to offer us dry wine. The answer was: We never offer anything, we let the guests to choose. Never ever experienced such unprofessional answer anywhere in Hungary either abroad. Parking is extra 1800 Ft per day. The cocktails are not updated in the list in the bar. We expected a higher quality and service from a 4 star hotel of Radisson. It was not our first stay in a Radisson hotel chain but never got such low service before.

Your average 4 star hotel, with above average food. They rip you off shamelessly with drinks and 'service fee' on everything you order though... unless you pay the hefty extra for all inclusive. The connected free-to-use, exceptional thermal bath saves it/you from a bad aftertaste
