Véndek-hegy

The stone sea in the southern foreground of Véndeki Hill is perhaps the least known of the geological phenomena of the Tapolca Basin. The sand and gravel material of the dredged river sediment found here can be seen through a window on the windmill side of the prepared rocks. Traces of wind milling appear as parallel grooves in some places polished to a mirror-polished surface on the surface of the rocks. The botanical study of the area would also deserve some attention and the area could be utilized as a geological demonstration site.

Great for hiking, relaxation. But you should spend some time cutting out the shrubbery and the view of Lake Balaton would be perfect.
