Turul Monument

Very old monument and the view is the best.And lots of food places .

Nice view from the monument, but mainly to block houses. The turul statue itself is enormous, quite popular photo target. Despite of covid restrictions, huge crowd was seen around the monument, almost nobody wearing mask. Buffet was open as well, no comment... Selim cave nearby worth the 200m walking.

Beautiful view, about 65kms from Budapest so not more than a 40-45 minute drive. Worth the short drive to see the largest Turul bird statue in this part of Europe. The bird that signalled the Magyars to settle in the Carpathian basin when it dropped it's sword beside the Duna over 1100 years ago. Pretty cool part of history.

It's pretty good but there are no signs from the city where we should go. And from the parking lot we didn't saw a sign where is the exit.

Great place for practicing via ferrata. A bit crowded for a calm walk on the weekends.
