"Located on the foothills of the Western Mecsek Mountains, halfway between Kővágószőlős and Kövágótöttös, this charming little chapel stands on the vineyard of the latter. It bears the name of one of the most popular saints of the twentieth century, Benadett. According to legend - Mary appeared to the eldest daughter of a local miller. From a structural point of view, the tiny building was roughly north-south facing, with a semicircular sanctuary, made from nearby Permian red sandstone cladding - according to a sign on the main facade in 1943. The low-pitched roof covers just a few square feet of interior space, with a larger statue of Mary and tiny Bernadett. The entrance is closed by a simple, pierced forged-welded iron gate.
