Octagonal Burial Chamber

Septichora is one of the most interesting sights of Pécs. The presentation of the ancient Christian funeral was very nicely solved, and the exhibition space is also fascinating architecturally. It is a good thing that you do not have to buy a separate photo here, you should take a photo of it.

The tomb chamber No. V (otherwise known as "Octagonal") is a real treat among the early Christian relics of Pécs. Even a lay observer may find that he has gone through several eras of construction. Traces of its intricate vaulted system can still be seen in the wall today - as well as the only remaining window fragment.
