Major Kunsági

Needs restoration. The water was smelling like iron, even though when you take shower and use body wash, you can still smell it. They need to find a way to get rid of flys and mosquitos. The food was delicious but no one can eat meat everyday.

I stayed at Kunsagi Major for a week. The landscape and animals are what make this place beautiful. The panoramas that I saw here are spectacular. The main negative drawback is the food served in the restaurant. The selection of dishes was repetitive and often leftovers from one less successful dish from the buffet would be reused to make something else for the next meal. The vegetarian option is particularly unhealthy. Cheese and pasta are not substitutes of meat!

Quiet hotel set in beautiful countryside rich in wildlife. Welcoming, with great facilities for riding and outdoor activities. The meals were rustic and served in generous portions. Accomodation was OK but perhaps a bit out-dated for those used to staying in modern (or city-centre) hotels. It is not customary to have the bed linen changed each night and the beds were firm (which I like), but might not suit more fussy visitors.
