Magyarkert

Excellent idea for Hungarian geography, still a lot of development is foreseen. Many settlement markers were missing at the time of our visit, but the scale of 1:1000 (1 meter equals to 1 kilometer) gives a good possibility to discover Hungary. The rivers are also built. Highly recommended to visit but prepare for slightly more than 1 km dirt road from route 54.

Great idea to make a small map.

Until now, we could only see the beauties of this magical place, the presentation videos and the hostess of the place on the internet, but today we finally managed to make a walk in Magyarkert. With the clean world of the place, he made sweet contact with me and my visiting companions. I was impressed by the closeness to nature, the sight of the animals, the peace and last but not least the enormous love and knowledge of the hostess Tünde. During our long walk we got acquainted with the special buildings, the beauty of a given place, the multitude of plans and goals for the future. The most magical place for me was the wonder forest. What makes it a miracle? Visit everyone who can do it and see for yourself.

The idea is good, but the maintenance of the area leaves something to be desired. Unreadable boards, shattered parts of the irrigation system are scattered in the grass, the pink decorations of a summer bachelorette party are still decorating outside, deflated balls on the playground, and so on. The settlements and the individual landscape units could be illustrated much better with several boards and possibly models.

It’s a good idea, but there’s still a lot of work to be done to really enjoy it. It was disappointing, even though I was prepared in advance for what I could expect. The price of the ticket is also excessive compared to what you have seen.
