Kopáncsi templom

The only surviving Árpádian church in the Great Plain. It can be visited by logging in. He has his farewell on Pentecost Monday. On that day, the Pentecostal Pilgrimage Association organizes a walking pilgrimage here from Orosháza.

Very well maintained, cozy place, really like a mini arboretum. The road to the church is now accessible by car even after the rains. Rich wildlife, rich plants, a wide variety of butterflies, songbirds and birds of prey accompanied our journey.

Our medieval building is in really good condition - there are few similar ones in the Great Plain, so its preservation is especially important. (The only secondary, but not incidental, information is that, unfortunately, it is not in its original state either. Its walls were destroyed to a height of about 3 meters and were only restored around the third of the 20th century. portions.)

XII. Century Gothic church built in the Romanesque style oh, tiny garden.
