János Boczka (05/28/2018)
It was built in the post-Tartar era. It was here that Lőrinc Mészáros, High Priest of Cegléd, was baptized, who later became the commander-in-chief of György Dózsa's armies. It was demolished by the Turkish armies in the middle of the 16th century, rebuilt in 1615, at which time the corner tower with a porthole fortress was built. The tower in front of the west facade was built in 1704. It was damaged by an earthquake in 1713, it was rebuilt in 1743, when it received its coffered wooden ceiling (it originally consisted of 100 boards, painted by Imre Asztalos and István). It has two bells: 560 kg (1922 Budapest) 400 kg (Johann M.Schneider Cashier)
