Beautiful short drive off 8 through Rönök and a little strand of forest. We arrived at sundown which led to a magical feeling. Deer and rabbits were running around. Unfortunately we couldn't look inside. This was the most emotional moment of my whole vacation because Rönök is where my great-grandfather left in 1906 to come to America. He lived with his cousin's family in Rönök, and might have attended this church.

Very nice place, it's a shame that people stole it, so it had to be rebuilt with Austrian money and which is not yet completely finished (see below)

Idyllic, in the middle of a wooded area in a clearing located church on the Austro-Hungarian border. In autumn a particularly beautiful color ambience. Accessible via a well-developed gravel road. From the Austrian side is in the period from early November to mid-April, however, a driving ban. Parking is normally sufficient.
