Unsafe environment! Once we’d paid we were led upstairs where a really sketchy man was paralytic on the kitchen floor, his two friends arguing loudly nearby. The receptionist did nothing. Later the same guy tried twice to break into the shower while people from our group were inside, despite being warned, because there was no lock. Thankfully it was the men in our party who were in both times, not the women, as he was clearly trying to get a look at them (we stationed people outside to stop him, he still tried). When we told the receptionist she did nothing, just saying that the group had been there for a week being really noisy. We left soon after. No refund given because - even though we paid in cash - the refund has to come through the app we booked on. If a hostel doesn’t care about the safety and security of its guests it shouldn’t be allowed to operate. Avoid like the plague. Unsafe and sketchy as hell.
