Papa Large Synagogue

Monumental building, locked up and getting derelict. Should be renovated before it's beyond repair.

Closed and in the need of tuckpoint and restoration. Sad, since it is a beautiful and quite large building close to downtown. 1star since it exists, but nothing is really visitable

PSA: The place has been closed for quite a while. There are rumors it will be re-opened sometime though.

We hope to renovate this once sure beautiful building once, which has its own little atmosphere. To this day, exhibitions, lectures and Jewish cultural days are held here. Once all the popes should look at what is inside.

Wonderful building! It has fantastic acoustics! It was an honor to be in the building at the great concert of Péter Gerendás!
