Fantastic hidden medieval church: it s a shame you cannot get in to see the frescos: we ve travelled a lot,6 of us( all experts) but the man in charge just did not have the time.I understand him personally but this is not a solution towards visitors

I didn't even think that near Pécs, where the Turkish uprising had reached such proportions, I could find such an intact Árpádian church! Beautiful, lovely and simple church. The old frescoes are of a high standard and have been beautifully preserved. Worth a visit here!

The Árpád Age Church is here to come not only into a temple, but also into a Christian house built by the ancestors where they have nurtured their faith and soul for centuries. According to the locals, a move was also swept as the uranium mine opened here to start a quarry. But common sense was overcome and the church remained with the settlement.
