Eger Dobó István High School

Between 1992 and 2000, I went to an 8th grade high school. The education was of a high standard. I loved the teachers, it was good to come here.

In the years 1960-1964 I was wearing the pillars of the high school, and in 1964 I passed a successful graduation exam. However, I don't really want to remember that. Our department came with the administration and education of Bertalan Estók Teacher (father's ears) at the end of the high school years. Berci Bácsi's great acquaintance, a fan of the Bükk Mountains, tried to love nature with us on Sunday's Bükki tours. (On Saturday even those years continued teaching) On many of our Sunday tours, he captured our tours with a "winding" film recorder. I often think about heroism when I use my battery-powered Panaszonic video recorder, Fujifilm photo camera with more or less success, and certainly the end products are much more professional, thanks to modern technology, computer photo-video processing. The early morning departure was then MÁVAUT. from the railway station (from the eastern side of today's Eszterházy University) and in most cases ended in Felsőtárkány, where we walked to the nearby Bükk Mountains, touching the Sewing Forest House, the Stimecz tourist hostel. After spending the lunch, we went back to Eger with a short rest. (Route can be reconstructed on Google map) Anyone who tries to get on the route will have an unforgettable experience.

Wonderful building! I completed my high school studies in this old building! It was a fantastic four years with a wonderful faculty and fellow students. I could learn art, math, computer science all at once.
