Nagybakónaki templom

The parish has recently been renovated and continues to function as a museum!

Built in 1775 in baroque style, the patron Saint Stephen. Next to it is the late paplage whose carved rocks are of historical value. There is a church and local history exhibition which can be visited by prior notice. The coffin next to the church commemorates the victims of the Revolution and War of Independence of 1848-49 and the 1956 Revolution.

There is plenty of excursion in the area around it. The scenery is picturesque in all seasons.
