The Church of St. Imre in Székesfehérvár (often a church of friends or a Franciscan church) is located in the city center, on the Town Hall Square. The rich baroque church in Fehérvár dates back to the 13th century. It was built by the Franciscans present in the 16th century between 1720 and 1743, who left the city during the Turkish occupation, but returned after the recapture of Fehérvár in 1688, and then a monastery was built next to the church. According to tradition, the site of the church and the monastery once stood the royal palace in which Prince Imre, the son of Stephen I, was born. The relic of the eponymous is found in the foundation stone of the church. If you go for this, be sure to see the churchman and all the statues and houses around him. If you are thirsty there is a drinking fountain on the side. :)

Impressive baroque church in the heart of the city, yet in a secluded little street (if not approached from the side;)) Despite the demanding renovation, it has retained its soul-lifting atmosphere, its outstandingly diverse historical and informative character, which is further strengthened by the extremely willing staff. With its (detailed) rich frescoes, it allows for a very meaningful and longer-than-usual time for orienteering contemplation. Recommended.

Beautiful church inside and out. Lots and lots of amazing frescoes and a wealth of detail. The square is also beautiful, where it stands, how much together with other attractions.
