Duplicating the data on the anchor is unnecessary, János Boczka - but if he does (did), the source should be named below: Gyula Kövi reported in detail on the origin of the iron cat he personally followed, so the first hand is his.

This description has been posted before, I don't understand why Boczka J should re-post the publication of others as his own.

The anchor (iron bag) was placed near the House of Free Education at the DK edge of the Boating Lake of the Amusement Park. In 1984, his iron town was donated by his sister town in Finland to Kemi Székesfehérvár in the framework of the Alba Regia Days. His official opening and handover was on October 11, 1984. The original bilingual table was labeled as follows (this table has disappeared in the meantime): "The gift of the city of Kemi in 1984 to Székesfehérvár and the people living here. / From the town of Lahja Kemi to Székesfehérvár and its inhabitants in 1984.". Anchor History, Details: The 2.5-tonne anchor was a Greek merchant ship that lost it in the Gulf of Bothnia near Kalajoki (a few hundred kilometers south of Kemi). Later the anchor was found on the coast of Kalajoki and transported to Kemib, where it underwent general maintenance and painting, and was then transported to Székesfehérvár.

The anchor on the shore of the lake was donated to the city in August 1984 by the Finnish sister town Kemi. The 2.5-tonne anchor was a Greek commercial ship lost in 1962 and later raised to 200 kilometers south of Kemi in the Gulf of Bothnia and then to Székesfehérvár.
