1) dirty boats. 2) no explanation whatsoever about anything to do with sailing, although explained in advance that 1 person had never sailed and the other a long time ago. still there was no reaction at all. 3) once on the water we found out that the mainsail was not correctly attached to the mast when put up and thus did not catch the wind good enough. 4) though there were 2 peddles on board, 1 was broken. 5) the representative told us there was a 'stormwarning', but no explanation whatsoever as to what that meant or what we were supposed to do. 6) at the place where the boats are, there is no sign whatsoever that Alba Sailing is there. no house, no garage, not even a post with the name on it, nothing. if there is to be a next time, i will look elsewhere, because the website looks fantastic, but thats all there is to it. i gave you 2 stars, because it wasnt all bad. the representative was very friendly and to make the reservation was very easy. Still, you have a responsibility to make sure that your customers are knowledgeable enough about their plans and that the boats are without obvious frailty.

Really nice guys, the whole hiring was tailor made for our needs. They have a wide variety of small sailing boats. The pricing is very reasonable too. Had a great day out on the lake. Recommend it!

The staff is kind and helpful. The appointment went easily. Parking is possible in front of the pier. We had a great time because we could break away from the party crowd. The boats would be much more enjoyable if only kept a little better maintained. For example, they would be dispensed if we didn’t have to exhaust about 50 gallons of water from it, (although that didn’t hurt my back muscle). We would get it with a charged battery, especially in case of light wind (they tried to remedy this by getting another half-discharged battery in reserve). It would be nice to replace the latniks in the sail. The rope grips and winches should be put in a condition that can hold the sail even in a slightly higher wind. We hope that the shortcomings will be remedied as soon as possible and that next time great ships will be waiting for us.
