In 1913, the first Salesians settled in Hungary and began their blessed work for the benefit of youth. In 1950, the operation of monastic orders was banned. The remaining 83 Hungarian Salesians started operating again in 1989. In Újpest, on the outskirts of the city, Italian Carmelite sisters bought the hunting lodge of the Count of Charles in a bargain and in 1926 they began to build the present-day church, which was completed in 1933, largely with the donation of the Belgian Carmelite order. In 1991, the Salesian Order took over the leadership of the parish. The church was painted and restored in 1993.

Very nice, "cozy" little church, I've been here since my age.
