Jézus Szíve-kápolna

In honor of my grandfather: Chapel of the Heart of Jesus in Csányoszró (1950) The construction of the church began in 1948 on the initiative of the parish priest Béla Varga. (period known to many) Until 1948, mass meadows and religious education were held in meadows, schools and school gardens. The plot was bought cheaply, with a dilapidated old farm building standing on it, which was demolished. The necessary building materials were piled up from Vajszló and other places (a former congregation that sent a couple of dozen bricks by post) Our church is a “scaled-down copy of the church of Máriagyűd”. Families who did the most in building the church: id. JÓZSEF SÓLYOM, JÁNOS KOLLÁRICS, MIHÁLYNÉ HIDEG and ÁDÁM RADICS, PÁL LŐRINC and his wife ROZIKA, ÁDÁM BAUMANN (forester: wood.) Dr. HENITZ HENRIK round doctor The first priest of our church is the parish priest József Müller. Its history was based on the story of Chaplain Vilmos Gyimesi. The church was consecrated in 1950 by Bishop Ferenc Virágh in honor of the HEART OF JESUS. The collection was made with the help of GYÖRGY LŐW.
