Awesome!

It was built in 1928 on the site of the demolished Árpád-era church. At the side entrance, they left a section of the old wall with a carved Gothic opening. The painted wooden cassettes of the demolished church were first transported to the Herman Ottó Museum in Miskolc, then to the Dobó István Castle Museum in Eger in 1962.

The medieval church of the village was taken over by Protestants in 1564. In 1928 it was expanded and rebuilt in Baroque style using old elements, but the carved Gothic opening, for example, remained. At the end of the 17th century, an unknown painter-carpenter made the ceiling of the church. During our walk on the billboard in front of the temple, we saw a celebration of music celebrating the 499th anniversary of the Reformation. We decided to participate in it as well. It was worth it because we met a very friendly community where we were welcomed by "strangers".
