There are no landmarks (trees, cliffs, etc.) in the vicinity of the lookout, so even those who would otherwise be deterred by the height can enjoy the view. Visitors are also welcome with a built-in fireplace, but it is also necessary to be prepared for the fact that the wind can blow strongly from time to time, so it is more worth looking for a more suitable fireplace. Perhaps only the benches are missing from the tower, because when one gets up, one can only sit on the railing of the stairs or on top of the wall as a rest. The Ugodi lookout tower, also known as the Szár-hegy lookout tower, was built in memory of the castle that once stood here. It is easy to approach, with signs to help you find your way. Very nice place! Really accessible by car from Ugod, not a forest road, but pretty shaky! It is worth parking at signpost number 4.
