Church Emeryka is not only the main point of the central square of Koszeg - Jurasics Ter, but it is also a symbol of the interesting history of the city. It was founded in the 17th century because Hungarian-speaking residents of the city no longer wanted to share the neighboring temple of St. Jakub with German-speaking fellow citizens. The interior of the temple conceals works by István Dorfmeister. It also got an example of Renaissance architecture with small elements of Gothic art. It is definitely worth paying a lot of attention to this temple during a visit to Koszeg.

I was here for a long weekend with the woman, and I didn't regret it: it was like going to a huge castle in the Middle Ages. It is very rare to see such a lot of things is preserved somewhere in the past. At night there is a silence that I have never seen anywhere else.
