The foundation stone of the church was laid on May 20, 1929. The builder of the building was János Baumgart from Dombóvár. The church was handed over to its destination on October 27, 1929 by dr. Reformed Bishop László Ravasz. Neo-Romanesque features can be discovered on the church, which was built at the junction of four streets. The cross above the entrance is a symbol of reverence. The stained glass windows are still visible in their original condition. The organ has been played at services since the early 1930s, by the famous organ maker of Pécs, József Angster and his son. The church had three bells, but one was unfortunately taken away during the war. The small bell was donated by Presbyter Fazekas in memory of his 16-year-old daughter. In 1973 and 1981, the church underwent a major renovation (painting, church tower helmet painting with shutters, plinth, cornice reconstruction). Plenty of relics, chalices and tablecloths were brought to the church through the donation of ancestors. The chalices are due to József Csery and his wife, the new tablecloths, the big carpets and the pulpit. to the wife of the pastor, István Tóth, who has been serving here for 34 years.
