Attalai Szent Vendel-templom

Continuously renovated temple thanks to devotional offerings. The organ is currently under reconstruction.

The original church was built by László Nádasi in 1716, it was furnished with wooden benches, which were replaced again in 1912 with the help of the craftsmen of the village. His altarpiece depicts St. Vendel, which is why the village’s farewell is on October 20, Vendel Day. The first bell is mentioned in 1747, which cracked and then re-cast in 1816. The remaining church was rebuilt in 1867 in a single-nave neo-baroque style, and its altarpiece was painted by Gusztáv Kratzmann.

Tidy, carefully maintained neighborhood. Memorials, statues. Shaded part with bench. With spectacular flora. The church has been renovated, thanks to which it can be said to be beautiful.
