Very nice building. It can be good to work. It is centrally located opposite the temple.

On our bike tour 2017 along the Tisza we also stopped (overnight) in the beautiful city of Csongrád. The "Panzio Öregtölgy" was great, the baked pikeperch in the restaurant "Barko" was an insider tip and we liked the sights on our small city tour. Here is our little travel report: Csongrád is a very "green" city: almost every street is an avenue with partly very old and tall trees. On the way to the "Panzio Öregtölgy" we cycled past: the parish church "Mariä Himmelfahrt" (Nagyboldogasszony Plébániatemplom), the town hall of Csongrad and the art nouveau high school. We arrived at 5:00 p.m. in our beautiful apartment and, on the recommendation of the landlord, went to the "Barko" restaurant after showering. Baked pikeperch for me and for Uli "only" tagliatelle with chicken strips. We started the small city tour of Csongrad. In a small park on Kossuth tér, the statue "Tisza" and the statue of the Jewish poet Miklós Radnóti were found. (In May 1944, Miklós Radnóti was first ordered to the Ukrainian front and later interned in the Bor (copper mines) camp in Serbia. He collected the poems he had written here in a notebook that he sent from Bor to his wife. As Tito's troops advanced, he was driven on several violent marches across Hungary to the Austrian border with several thousand Jewish forced laborers. After his collapse, he was shot with 21 of his fellow prisoners at Abda, near the Austrian border. The mass grave was exhumed after the war in 1946. His last poems were found.) At 8.30 a.m. we left the city of Csongrád. Csongrád is always worth a trip!
