Super place, a real tourist attraction! If you often visit the Csevice Valley, you may encounter crowded student teams from time to time around the quarry. Geological students of the universities that also teach geology visit the Fehérkő Mine in Tari and the andesite (iron stone) mine opposite it, and if they are already here, the Csevice springs at least once during their studies. What makes this place so interesting to them? The fact that here is an important monument of the prehistory of Hungary and the Carpathian Basin, the Tari dacite tuff.

Rhyolite tuff (ignimbrit) quarry. With the abandonment of mining, spectacular rock walls have been left, preserving the memories of rock formation (gas discharge channels) and traces of former quarrying work.
