"The statue depicts the Hungarian body that breaks out of all trouble, one half is alive and the other is dying." Corpus Hungaricum has been an important memorial site of the National Day of Mourning since 1999, with a school memorial service and wreath-laying.

The statue was modeled by Nándor Wagner in 1952, which at that time could not be exhibited in public. It was erected in 1999, designed by architect István Makk, and casted by sculptor Benedek Nagy. It depicts the Hungarian body that breaks out of all trouble, one half is alive and the other is dying. It is an important memorial site of the National Day of Mourning. His dreamer could no longer touch his set-up. Born: Oradea 7/11/1922 Died: Moka 15.11.1997.
