Saint Stephen's Chapel

A nice little place.

The 5 graves of the first Swabian settlers in Mecseknádas have survived and can be seen. They are opposite the entrance to the church.

Beautiful Árpád-era church near the winding main road to Pécs in the cemetery.

Unfortunately, it was not open, so I could only look outside, but it is definitely a unique location. The storms of history are well illustrated by many tombstones in German, not so long ago, but from a very different age ...

Although it does not show much of it from the outside, its medieval origins can be discovered. Inside, this is clearer, but you can only get inside without prior organization. However, it is also worth browsing through the cemetery. (I don't know what's going on today, but when I was a child, the aunts who cared for the graves only spoke German.)
