Many years ago (10-15), the church was renovated both from outside and from inside. Since then, it became an eye catcher building in the middle of the village. After that, the fences around the building were removed and now, there is a huge and to each side open park, where everyone can enter limitless. In the following years, the monuments for the Heroes and Victims of the First Wold War and the Second World War were renewed, a new monument commemorating the Deportation of members of the German minority into the labor camps in the Soviet Union was established. In the park are busts of two in Feked born famous personalities: Johann Mott (Abbot of Pécsvárad) and Josef Báling (leading figure of the German minority in Hungary and deputy editor in chief of the daily newspaper Dunántúli Napló). The church together with the surrounding park is one of the spots on the study path (in German: Lehrpfad; in Hungarian: tanösvény) about the village and the German traces. Feked is the only one village in Hungary, where the architecture of the German minority is nearly completely saved and restored: almost each of the houses is built in the beautiful "Swabian" style of the 1920-30 years. It's just amazing and unbelievable at the same time! This village is not simply "worth to see" - it's more than that - it's seriously "must to see"! Welcome!
