Gizella Nagy (03/01/2018)
The name of the village and the Kölcsey family are closely related. Until 1830 the Kölcsey family owned the village. After the plague epidemic of 1700, when the area is completely deserted, the landlord Slovak settlers brought to the village. The settlers arrived here for a long time practiced evangelical religion or nearby Carei homes. Then in the middle of the 19th century, the loan evangelical religious community was registered with the mother parishes line, so after this architectural style church clean inside and out megépülhetett. Construction began in 1865 and in 1869 the temple was dedicated. The interior of the building was renovated in 1930.
