If it was possible it would be 0 stars. I booked an apartment for my travel to Budapest. I got the email confirming the reservation, and the contact details for the person in charge of the place. I called him to ask about parking and other things. He was driving so he said that he will be calling back, but that never happened. This was on january 24 2018. The next day i log in to see if there is something new, to find out that my reservation is gone, no phone, no email no nothing. So this shows how unprofessional this site is. If you want to travel, and have a place to stay when you get there i suggest to look some other way to book a place.

During the last moment of the accommodation search (search at eight o'clock in the evening, that evening) we found and then booked a guest room on the accommodation.hu. A booking confirmation has also been received. Arriving at the address of the accommodation, at ten o'clock in the evening, a telephone conversation with the landlord revealed that the room, which was thought to be vacant, was in fact occupied. The accommodation provider most likely could have published it on someone else's platform, and failed to update the status of the accommodation.hu advertisement. This is clearly the fault of the accommodation provider and not of the accommodation.hu, BUT: After our telephone conversation, the accommodation provider could cancel our already confirmed reservation from the system of Szállás.hu without penalty, thus taking away the opportunity from us to (down) evaluate its performance in the system. After that, I contacted the customer service of Szállás.hu to see if I have any opportunity to evaluate the accommodation. After several correspondence, it turned out that there was none. According to its own customer service, ".hu is constantly trying to encourage our partners to update and keep their [contact] settings as frequent as possible in order to avoid such inconveniences. " However, nothing is done to ensure that any accommodation is left to any penalty for those who leave guests on the street, or to ensure that the accommodation can then be appreciated by the injured guest. It appears that accommodations can cancel unpleasant bookings without the guest’s consent, taking away the guest’s right to comment. Thus, "upscale" ratings of accommodations remain in the system, misleading other potential guests.

Years earlier I had a domestic booking through the company - without any problems. I thought it also works in relation to foreign accommodation, unfortunately I was wrong. It turned out by accident during the transfer of the advance payment, the owner does not want to rent the apartment included in the offer and the confirmation of the accommodation.hu at the indicated price. True it happened over the weekend, but after I signaled the "mistake" and we discussed accommodation in Hungarian, I get a call back on the weekend. This is not the case, main problem for me, the client is not considered worthy of the promised information. For me, the never again category will be reported later ..

We tried to book accommodation on the site twice. The first date, although the page indicated it was free (bookable), was still rejected the next day, citing a full house, this was sadly acknowledged though. Then we try to sell the second (and last free) optional weekend to us for 91 thousand forints instead of the announced 42 thousand forints. Both cases are deceptive to me because neither the free dates displayed on the site nor the prices advertised on the site are real.
