Siofok Main Beach

It's closed!!! Middle of September. A big fence around it. We have been at so many beaches around Europe, sea and lakes, and never experienced public (?) beaches to be closed down after high season. The whole coastline seems to be privatized so you can't even walk along the lakeside - only 'hotelguest-only-beaches' and 'public but closed' beaches. Disappointing - never again.

Nice beach with lots of possiblities for fun. Parking nearby is affordable and entrence is free for the small kids. Sandy beach floor and very shallow for the small kids near the shore. Else it doesn't go lower than 120 cm for 100 meters out.

There is a fee for entrance. Nice place to swim and get a tan. DJ playing some music, outdoor gym.

Only open may-september. No information anywhere. As start of september the gates were closed. Try Nagystrand instead

Clean and pleasant beach. Expensive drinks though
