One of the better train stations around Balaton. Clean, efficient. Has bathrooms, luggage storage, pay parking, underpass from both sides of the tracks. Close to everything, lake, town center, shopping.

A nice clean railway station. It is a pity that lifts are not available on both sides. Lifts or ramps for wheelchair and suitcase access is essential in any good railway station.

Hungary has been updating it's railroads for a good decade now. This includes a lot of railway stations. Being that the Balaton is a huge tourist attraction, especially this area, the station has been modernized. Instead of walking over the tracks to leave the multi tracked station, you now have to take the stairs from each platform. They also have tv screens with the schedule of the trains, along with the buses and ferries.

Little train station with seating areas inside and outside the building. Also, you can find lockers to keep your valuables secure while you away. Furthermore, you can buy your ticket at the ticket office or at the self service machine. The later one gives you 5% off your purchase for using this type of service.
