It is probably the only cassette Reformed church in the country. Built in the 1700s but wonderfully maintained, the church can be denied for centuries. I recommend everyone who goes to the Guard not to miss out on their program.
Beautiful Reformed church. One might ask, what make a puritanical white wall beautiful? Well, you don’t even have to look at it, but if you look up, the cassette inlay painted in blue and white, with dozens of patterns, makes this church unique and fantastic. The equipment is also 100+ years old, it has life in it.
A soul-warming place, a real jewelry box. There is silence, peace in the church. Cleanliness, free to visit. Parking mock up. Demanding beautiful place. A heart-opening place to relax here for a prayer.
The Reformed Church with a painted coffered ceiling in Szentgyörgyvölgy is beautiful. It is located on the Blue Transdanubia Blue Tour route, and don't miss it by accident. The history of building the church itself is worth a Mass. What, according to legend, was literally made in a cavalry, that is, on a horse-drawn chariot, lest the grace decree be revoked. However, the interior of the church is beautifully carved and painted with furnishings beyond all imagination.
I checked this well! Because based on the photos we visited the church. The standard of the coffered ceiling is approx. to the patched sketch. What did the teacher want to portray in the 19th century? Mystery. The motifs could have been mostly sold in the early 20th century for something, say a Miró work. Well, kids, we already had non-figurative painting at the end of the world!
Who has ever seen a church with a coffered ceiling in Kalotaszeg
in the church in Csengersima, possibly in Tákos, he understands what I wrote.
